Our Story
YATRIN was born from a simple question: why is it so hard to find a clean, affordable, vegetarian-friendly stay near a sacred temple?
After one too many disappointing experiences — overpriced rooms, dirty facilities, hosts who didn't understand the sanctity of a pilgrimage — we decided to build the resource we always wished existed.
We personally visit every property. We check proximity to the temple, cleanliness, kitchen facilities, and the attitude of the host. If we wouldn't send our own parents there, it doesn't get listed.
Our name — YATRIN (यात्रिन्) — means "traveller" in Sanskrit. Every pilgrim is a traveller on a sacred path. We exist to make that path a little more comfortable.
